- Q: How to remove the Center Console Base and Glove Box on Toyota Supra?A:Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, then remove the shift lever knob if applicable. Lift out the ashtray and take out the five heater control knobs, followed by removing the retaining screws to detach the heater control panel. Next, remove the console screws, unplug the electrical connectors, and lift out the console assembly. After that, remove the upper panel screws, unplug any electrical connectors, and detach the console upper panel. For the glove compartment, take out the under cover securing screws and lower the panel, detaching it from the dash. Detach the glove compartment door check arm by removing the two retaining screws, then remove the glove compartment door and the door lock striker. Lower the glove compartment, disconnect the two connectors, and detach it completely. Next, take off the steering wheel, remove the retaining screws at the bottom of the steering column cover, and take off the cover. Pry the driver's side speaker panel loose with a screwdriver and remove it. Remove the retaining screws and clamps to detach the driver's side under cover, then remove the retaining screws, unplug the connectors, and take out the driver's side lower finish panel. Finally, remove the retaining screws, unplug the electrical connectors, and detach the cluster finish panel.
