Crawl under to ease off the wheel nuts and put your car jack under the front, secure it with stands, engage the brake, and pull the wheel off. Next, remove the engine under cover. Mark where the stand and nut attach to the strut bar before taking off so we can put everything back into exactly the same position. Starting with the front of the strut bar, take off the bolt, washer, the retaining part, and the rubber bushing. Twist off the two nuts holding the lower
Control Arm to the rear of the strut bar, then detach the whole bar from the arm. Take off the collar, the excess rubber bushing, and retainer from the strut bar. Look at the metal bushing, washers, and rubber bushings to see if they have any wear or damage. Put new ones in if needed. Just like removal, installation goes in reverse too - but carefully put back the retainers, rubber bushings, and metal bushing as ordered. If you need a new strut bar, adjust its length to the right size by tightening the rear nut.
