Take off the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and remove other couplings that are attached to the steering column. Pull off the connectors from the wiper / washer switch by using a finger to push in the release tabs and lifting the connectors. Loosen the claw by inserting a small screwdriver on the claw lock tab, then pull out the wiper/washer switch and take off the switch. Where removal involved dismantling tools, installation is the opposite of removal, which means the use of assembling tools. Loosen the bolts holding the turn signal switch/headlight switch and disconnect the steering wheel including the spiral cable and disconnect the electrical connector by pulling the release tab. Slide the switch retaining clamp up and unlock the clamp by expanding the ends and then pull the switch off the column and out. Removal is the process of dismantling a system from its fixed location and installation is similar to it except for the fact that it is done in the opposite way.
