First, unstow the wiper arm mounting nut, and place a tooth from the arm up to the linkage making a mark. Next, the cowl and the front fender-to-cowl seal should be removed from the car. Remove the electrical connector from the wiper motor and the lift up the wiper motor to remove its mounting bolts. Then disconnect the linkage, and motor bolts to pull out the linkage-motor assembly out from the cowl as a unit. With the help of the screwdriver, you have to un-clamp the linkage with the wiper motor crank arm and thus you have to pull out the wiper motor mounting bolts to pull off the motor. Lastly, installation is exactly the opposite of the removal work, whereby tools are used to fix the components.
