    First of all, the oil pressure switch turns the oil caution light on when the pressure has lessened. To remove the switch, raise the car, detach the wiring, and loosen the switch. Also, check for cracks or weak wiring. To refit, clean, and apply thread-locking fluid on the thread, and tighten the switch.
