Toyota 27060-16081 Alternator Assembly

Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, then remove the adjustment bolt and the plastic boot covering terminal B. Next, take off the plastic cover from terminal B and remove the nut and wire from terminal B to disconnect the wire and unplug the large electrical connector from the end cover. Unplug the large round electrical connector from the alternator end cover, raise the vehicle, and secure it on jackstands. Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold and the hanger bracket, then remove the pivot nut and through-bolt from the alternator mounting bracket before taking out the alternator. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
