Open the hood and reach behind the headlight assembly to unplug the electrical connector; if removing the left-side headlight, also remove the fresh-air intake duct. Release the spring clip to take out the bulb holder, then pull straight out on the bulb to remove it from the holder. Avoid touching the glass with bare fingers and use a clean lint-free cloth to hold the bulb during installation, inserting the bulb assembly into the headlight housing. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.

Open the hood and, for replacing the right-side headlight, remove the windshield washer reservoir to access the bulb. For the left-side headlight, take off the cover from the fuse/relay box for bulb access. If additional working room is needed, unbolt the fuse/relay box for more space; otherwise, the headlight housing must be removed. Reach behind the headlight assembly to unplug the electrical connector by depressing the clip on the harness connector. Rotate the plastic cover counterclockwise to detach it from the housing. Release the bulb retainer and take out the bulb from the housing, ensuring not to touch the glass of the new bulb with bare fingers. Insert the new bulb assembly into the headlight housing without touching the glass, and then plug in the electrical connector.

Remove the bulb holder retainer.

When installing the new bulb, make sure that the three lugs on the mounting base of the bulb socket are aligned with their corresponding cutouts in the headlight housing. Then, insert the bulb socket into the housing and turn it clockwise until it stops.

Plug in the electrical connector and insert the new bulb assembly into the headlight housing, twisting it clockwise to lock it in place.

Reach behind the headlight assembly and rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove the bulb.

Remove the instrument cluster and rotate the bulb counterclockwise to remove it.

Carefully pry it off using a trim removal tool.

Depress the release tab and disconnect the electrical connector from the high-beam headlight bulb socket.

The inner headlight bulbs are the high-beam bulbs and the outer bulbs are the low-beam bulbs.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Open the hood and reach behind the headlight assembly to unplug the electrical connector by depressing the clip on the harness connector.

Press and turn them anti-clockwise.

Depress the release tab and pull off the connector.

Grasp the bulb holder securely and rotate it counterclockwise to remove it from the housing. This step also applies to the fog lamp bulb holder.

Always check the bulb contacts and holder to ensure there is clean metal-to-metal contact between the bulb and its live(s) and earth. Clean off any corrosion or dirt before fitting a new bulb.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Grasp the bulb holder securely and rotate it counterclockwise to remove it from the housing.

Detach the bulb from the terminals by disconnecting the electrical connector from the socket. You may need to pry the bulb out, but do so only on the ends to avoid shattering the glass.

Start by opening the hood and reaching behind the headlight assembly.

Remove the lower engine splash shield.

1. Detach the dome light lens. 2. Grasp the bulb securely and detach it from the spring clips at each end. 3. Installation is the reverse of removal.

If there is a problem with an LED headlight, the entire headlight assembly must be replaced.

Use a tissue or clean cloth to avoid touching the glass with your fingers. If the glass is accidentally touched, wipe it clean using methylated spirit.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog light bulb holder. 2. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise and remove it from the housing. 3. Pull the bulb straight out to remove it from the bulb holder. 4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Clip the bulbholder back onto the light unit and clip the trim panel back into place.
