    How do you remove the Fuel Door Release Cable for the 2015 Toyota Camry? Posted by Glynda W.
    A:
    To remove the fuel door cable, remove the floor mat and left-side panel inside the trunk for access to the cable end. Push in the tabs of the fuel door latch cable end and pull it from the fuel door housing. Remove the cable end retainer by twisting it out of the bracket. Remove the rear seat bottom and the center door pillar's lower trim panel. Peel back the carpeting to access the release cable and open all of the clips holding the cable to the body. Remove the bolt holding the release handle assembly to the floor. Turn the housing over and remove the cable housings from the clips and the eyes from the levers. Attach a piece of thin wire to the end of the cable. Working in the trunk compartment, pull the cable towards the rear of the vehicle until you can see the wire. Attach the wire to the front of the new cable and fish it back through the body until it can be attached to the lever. The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal.
