- a) Measure the resistance between the positive and negative terminals to check the primary resistance of the coil for 2S-E, 3S-FE, and 5S-FE engine models. For the secondary resistance of the same models, measure the resistance between the positive terminal and the high tension terminal. For 35-GE engine models, measure the resistance between the positive and negative terminals for primary resistance. - b) Measure the resistance between the positive terminal and the high tension terminal for 35-GE engine models to check primary resistance. For 4A-FE engine models, measure the resistance between the positive and negative terminals for primary resistance and between the positive and high tension terminals for secondary resistance.
