To remove the A/C Condenser and inverter radiator in a vehicle, it is necessary to have the refrigerant discharged and recovered by an air conditioning technician. The radiator top cover and front bumper must be removed, along with the radar sensor assembly and its vertical bracket if applicable. Hoses must be disconnected and sealed to prevent contamination, and the inverter bracket, hood latch support unit, and interfering fan shroud must be removed. The condenser can then be lifted straight up to remove it with the inverter radiator connected, and the inverter radiator can be unbolted and removed from the condenser. Installation is the reverse of removal, and the system must be evacuated, charged, and leak tested by a professional.
