To remove the A/C switch in the instrument panel, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Proceed to remove the center instrument trim panel and the center trim, followed by disengaging the clips for the center vent registers on each side of the radio and removing the vents. Remove the radio next. Then, using a trim tool, disengage the A/C switch retaining clips and carefully pry the switch out of the instrument panel. Pull the A/C switch out of the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical connectors. For installation, simply follow the reverse order of the removal steps.
