    Disconnect the negative battery cable. Caution: If the stereo in your vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft system, make sure you have the correct activation code before disconnecting the battery. Drain the coolant into a container. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly from the vehicle. If equipped with the PAIR emission system, remove the air pipe. On 1993 and later models, remove the exhaust manifold. Remove the oil pressure switch. Remove the oil cooler hoses, if equipped. Remove the oil cooler mounting bolts and nuts. Installation is the reverse of removal.
