Toyota 31420-52080 Cylinder Assembly, MASTE

Start by releasing the spring clip on the supply hose at the top of the cylinder and disconnecting the hose.Clamp the fluid supply hose or use a plug to prevent fluid loss.Unscrew the slave cylinder supply pipe union at the side of the master cylinder, using penetrating fluid if necessary.Inside the car, move the driver's seat fully to the rear and remove the pedal return spring with needle-nosed pliers.Remove the spring clip and clevis pin to detach the clutch pedal.Remove the two master cylinder mounting nuts inside the car and withdraw the master cylinder.
