Toyota 23217-16490 Fuel Filter Pump

Place a container under the filter to catch fuel. The fuel filter is located under the vehicle or in the engine compartment. Raise the vehicle on jack stands. Release clamps and remove hoses from the filter. Replace damaged hoses. Remove the old filter and install the new one, ensuring the arrow points towards the carburetor. For fuel-injected models, loosen the banjo bolts and disconnect the lines. Remove the old filter and bracket. Install the new filter and bracket, ensuring the flanged end faces down. Install and tighten the inlet and outlet banjo bolts using new sealing washers. Installation is the revere of removal.
