Refitting is a reversal of removal, bearing in mind the following points: a) Fit the swivel hub-to-strut bolts in from the front and oil the nut threads before fitting. b) Use a new split pin and spring clip on the tie-rod end and lower arm balljoint nuts respectively, and a new driveshaft nut. c) The tie-rod end and lower arm balljoint nuts can both be tightened up to 60° past their torque value if necessary to fit the split pin/spring clip. d) Do not fully tighten the driveshaft nut until the car is resting on its wheels. e) Tighten all fixings to the specified torque. f) Have the front wheel alignment checked on completion.
