To check the wiper motor circuit, make sure the battery is charged. Next, check for any binding linkage or pivots. If the issue persists, check for corroded connections like the ground connection. If the wipers don't work when activated, check the fuse and repair the ground connection. If the motor still doesn't work, check for voltage at the motor and test it off the vehicle if present. Replace the motor if needed. If there's no voltage, check the wiper control relays and test the switch. For interval function issues, check the wiring continuity. If the wipers fail to park, check for voltage at the park feed wire. If no voltage, check for an open circuit. To replace the motor, disconnect the battery, remove the wiper arm nuts and arms, remove the windshield cowl cover, disconnect the motor harness, and remove the motor/linkage assembly bolts. Lift the motor assembly, pry the linkage rod, and remove the motor bolts. The installation is the reverse of the removal.
