Pedal height refers to the distance between the pedal pad and the floor. If the pedal height is not within the specified range, it needs to be adjusted. To adjust the clutch pedal height, loosen the locknut and back the stopper bolt or switch out for clearance, then loosen the locknut on the clutch pushrod. Turn the pushrod to adjust the pedal height and retighten the locknut. For measuring and adjusting the brake pedal height, ensure the pedal is fully returned and activate the brake power booster by depressing the accelerator. Measure the pedal height and adjust if necessary by loosening the locknut and backing the stopper bolt or switch out for clearance. Then, loosen the locknut on the brake pushrod and turn the pushrod to adjust the pedal height. Finally, retighten the locknut. Pedal freeplay refers to the slack or distance the pedal can be depressed before it affects the clutch or brake system. If the pedal freeplay is not within the specified range, it needs to be adjusted. To adjust the clutch pedal freeplay, loosen the locknut on the clutch pushrod and back off the pushrod to the specified range. Retighten the locknut. For measuring and adjusting the brake pedal freeplay, turn off the engine and depress the brake pedal multiple times. Measure the pedal freeplay and adjust if necessary by loosening the locknut on the brake pushrod, backing off the pushrod to the specified range, and retightening the locknut.
