    First of all, disconnect the negative battery terminal and remove the drivebelt. Next, loosen the lug nuts on the right front wheel, raise the vehicle, and support it on jack stands. Also, remove the wheel and right splash shield. Remove the crankshaft bolt using a breaker bar. To install, align the pulley with the Woodruff key and press it onto the crankshaft using a damper tool. Installation is the reverse of removal.

    To install the crankshaft pulley, slide the pulley onto the crankshaft as far as it will go. Then, use a vibration damper installation tool to press the pulley onto the crankshaft. Ensure that the slot (keyway) in the hub is aligned with the Woodruff key in the end of the crankshaft. The crankshaft bolt can also be used to press the crankshaft pulley into position.
