At first, remove the driveshaft to replace U-joint, and put it on a bench with a vise. Then mark for proper reassembly the shaft and yoke before removing snap-rings from U-joint since outer snap-rings can be taken out by use of small pliers. Select one bearing cup and place either piece of pipe or large socket over it; then go ahead and also install another socket that is little smaller in size than the first one in the opposite bearing cup, forcing this cup out using a vice up to where it stops just short of coming completely free from yoke. Apply force on the lower jaw of vise or utilize an enormous pair of pliers to take out remaining portion of the cup. Continue doing same thing for other side as well.Once these bearings cups are out, lift U-joint from yoke and clean those yokes inside them completely after which you have to remove any metal burrs from their bores.Pack new grease into U-joint bearing cups and position body of U-joint into each respective bearing partially installed in such yoke.Ensure that if there is a grease fitting, it points towards same direction as at other end's grease fitting on driveshaft.Starting into cups body of universal joint should be aligned with them finally pressing them carefully so that dust seals won't get damaged.Put back rings then tap hammer under driveshaftyolk when they are difficult to fit properly making centralize u joint.If there is grease nipple, lubricate universal joint before reinstalling drive shaft then lower car. Note that this procedure may require a press or large vice and you might want professional assistance on changing your U-Joints through repair or machine shop.
