To replace the hazard warning switch in Solara models, start by disconnecting the battery's negative cable. Then carefully pull the center cluster panel from the instrument panel, pull the assembly out, and disconnect the electrical connector at the switch's back end. Slide down the securing tab to free the switch from the bezel frame, reverse those same steps to put the switch back in. To fix the power mirror switch on the left of steering, pry off the small panel below the steering column and disconnect electrical wire. Then.Remove the switch, reversal for installing it. The rear window defogger switch is built into the heating and air conditioning control panel. You need to move that panel outwards to remove the electrical connector that touches the switch at the back. Then depress the retaining tab on the switch, taking it away from the bezel.
