Remove the center cluster finish panel and separate the radio from the heater/air conditioning control panel assembly to access the hazard warning switch.

They are one unit and must be replaced together.

To replace the hazard warning switch, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable. Then, carefully remove the center cluster finish panel from the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical connector at the rear of the switch. The location of the hazard switch may vary depending on the model, either in the heating/air conditioning control panel or the center vent panel. Depress the tab and remove the switch from the bezel. For Camry models, the hazard switch is integral to the heating/air conditioning controls and must be replaced as an assembly. To replace the power mirror control switch, locate the switch in a small panel to the left of the steering column or in the driver's door panel, depending on the model. Pry the panel from the dash or pry the switch from the door panel, then disconnect the electrical connector and remove the switch. To replace the defogger control switch, remove the heating and air conditioning control panel and disconnect the electrical connector at the rear of the switch. Depress the tab and remove the switch from the bezel. For the instrument panel light control switch, remove the instrument cluster or the small removable panel to the left of the steering column, depending on the model. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the switch by squeezing the clips. Installation for all switches is the reverse of the removal procedure.
