How to remove and install the instrument cluster for the 1992 Toyota Land Cruiser?

Disconnect the negative battery cable, ensuring you have the correct activation code for the stereo's anti-theft system if applicable. Remove the instrument cluster bezel, then take out the cluster mounting screws and pull the instrument cluster towards the steering wheel. Unscrew the speedometer cable from the backside of the instrument cluster if it is equipped, and disconnect any electrical connectors that may interfere with removal. Protect the trim covers by covering the steering column with a cloth, then remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
