A: To remove the front bumper, apply parking brake and block rear wheels. Lift front of vehicle and support securely on jackstands. Disconnect negative battery lead and wiring that may interfere with removal. Pry bumper cover clips free from fender, being careful not to damage either. Remove bumper retention bolts from under vehicle. Pull bumper assembly from vehicle and remove bumper cover from unit by removing upper and lower cover nuts/bolts. To reinstall, follow reverse of removal procedure. For rear bumper removal, start in trunk and pull up carpet. Pry rubber grommets out and remove rear bumper retention bolts. Pry bumper cover from rear body panel until upper and lower metal clips are free. Pull complete bumper assembly free and unscrew upper and lower bumper cover nuts/bolts to remove cover. Before installing bumper, reconnect bumper cover clips by prying retention strip from body. Position retention strip on corners of cover and push retention clips into place. Rest of bumper installation is reverse of removal procedure.
