To remove the A/C Condenser, the refrigerant must be discharged and recovered from the system. Once discharged, the
Radiator is removed, followed by disconnecting the condenser's inlet and outlet fittings and capping them to prevent contamination. The condenser mounting bolts are then removed, allowing the condenser to be lifted out. For installation, the condenser, brackets, and bolts are installed, ensuring proper rubber cushion placement. The refrigerant lines are reconnected with new O-rings if necessary, and 1.5 to 2.0 fluid ounces of new refrigerant oil are added if a new condenser is installed. The remaining parts are then reinstalled in reverse order, the cooling system is refilled, and the system is evacuated, charged, and leak tested by a professional.
