How to remove and install the Mirror Switch, hazard warning switch, and dimmer switch on Toyota Corolla?

To replace the hazard warning switch, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable. Carefully remove the center cluster finish panel from the instrument panel and pull the assembly out to disconnect the electrical connector at the rear of the switch. Use two screwdrivers to depress the switch retaining tangs and then remove the switch cluster from the panel, with installation being the reverse of removal. For the power mirror control switch and dimmer switch, locate the switches in a small panel to the left of the steering column, then carefully pry the panel from the dash with a trim tool. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the switches, with installation following the reverse procedure. The rear window defogger switch is found in the heating and air conditioning control panel; remove the control panel and pull the assembly out to disconnect the electrical connector at the rear of the switch, then depress the tab to remove the switch from the bezel, with installation also being the reverse of removal.

To replace the hazard warning switch, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable. Carefully remove the center cluster finish panel from the instrument panel and pull the assembly out to disconnect the electrical connector at the rear of the switch. Use two screwdrivers to depress the switch retaining tangs and then remove the switch cluster from the panel, with installation being the reverse of removal. For the power mirror control switch and dimmer switch, locate the switches in a small panel to the left of the steering column, then carefully pry the panel from the dash with a trim tool. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the switches, with installation following the reverse procedure. The rear window defogger switch is found in the heating and air conditioning control panel; remove the control panel and pull the assembly out to disconnect the electrical connector at the rear of the switch, then depress the tab to remove the switch from the bezel, with installation also being the reverse of removal.
