To do that, lift the bonnet, and by using an Allen-wrench, unscrew three bolts that hold the lock assembly; then, pull the assembly out. Then, pull the outer cable end from the slot for the bonnet lock and detach the inner cable from the lock operating lever. Refitting does not involve any new procedures; instead, it is a reversal of the removal steps. If necessary the location of the lock can be changed to tweak the operation of the lock, within the elongated slots.
