How to replace the interior,map reading lights and Instrument Panel Light Bulb on Toyota Echo?

To replace the interior and map reading lights, carefully prise the light unit lens down at the side with a small screwdriver, then pull the festoon-type bulb from the sprung contacts. For models with map reading lights, hinge back the contact plate to remove the push-fit bulb, and fit the new bulb by reversing the removal process. If necessary, the light unit can be completely removed by taking out the two mounting screws and disconnecting the wiring plug. For the luggage compartment light, prise the light unit out from the trim panel, pull the festoon-type bulb from the contacts, and fit the new bulb by reversing the removal procedure.
