Before you start, use the parking brake, lift the vehicle, and use jackstands to support it. Heave out the splash shields below and inside the wheel wells by opening each piece, which is held in place with bolts, screws, and plastic mounts. Unbolt the clutch section of the radiator support, detach it behind the
Grille, then free the whole panel from the hood. Taking off the fasteners at the top of the grille is the first step. After that, unhook the fasteners holding the sides and bottom in place on the bumper cover. Unplug light connectors (fog lights, cornering lights, or parking assist if available) and pull the cover away from the car, then take the whole cover off. In the inner fenderwell, unscrew the screw that joins the bumper to the fender and then pull off the bottom fasteners that hold the bumper cover. In reinstalling the bumper cover, have an assistant assist you while making sure that the tabs on its back fit back into the body clips before screwing and bolting it back in place. Open the rear wheelwell and use your hands to take out the plastic clips and upper bolt that keeps the rear bumper cover attached. Separate three pieces: unlatch the luggage compartment shield from below the car (if it has one), remove the fasteners that hold the bumper cover, then release bottom fasteners. Before removing the front bumper, break all the plastic clips on the vehicle's body. To remove the bumper cover completely, first pull it out and away from your car until it's off.
