How to Remove and Install the Air Filter Box in a Toyota Prius?

For 2009 and earlier models, Disconnect air intake hose, breather hose, intake tube, and MAF sensor wiring. Unclip sensor, loosen hose clamp, remove bolts and air filter box. Installation is reverse of removal. For 2010 and later models: Disconnect MAF sensor wiring, unsnap lid clips, loosen outlet hose clamp, remove air filter lid, detach coolant hose and wiring harness clamp. Remove 3 bolts, lift inlet air filter assembly, remove air filter, detach hose from 3 clamps, remove 3 bolts and air filter lower housing. Installation is reverse of removal.
