How to go about removing the engine cover and Air Filter Box on Toyota Sequoia?

To remove the engine cover, disconnect the vent hose and vacuum sensing hose, and loosen the clamps securing the air intake duct to the Air Filter Box and throttle body. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector and unclip the air filter cover. Remove the Air Filter Box mounting bolts, lift up on the housing, and remove the air intake snorkel from the right fenderwell. For 1GR-FE V6 engine models, also disconnect the air intake duct from the Air Filter Box and the PCV fresh air intake hose. Loosen the screw on the hose clamp securing the intake manifold to the throttle body. Remove the Air Filter Box mounting bolts, pull the housing forward, disconnect the vacuum hose, and remove the Air Filter Box. The installation process is the reverse of removal.

To remove the engine cover, disconnect the vent hose and vacuum sensing hose, and loosen the clamps securing the air intake duct to the Air Filter Box and Throttle Body. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector and unclip the air filter cover. Remove the Air Filter Box mounting bolts, lift up on the housing, and remove the air intake snorkel from the right fenderwell. For 1GR-FE V6 engine models, also disconnect the air intake duct from the Air Filter Box and the PCV fresh air intake hose. Loosen the screw on the hose clamp securing the intake manifold to the throttle body. Remove the Air Filter Box mounting bolts, pull the housing forward, disconnect the vacuum hose, and remove the Air Filter Box. The installation process is the reverse of removal.
