How to remove and install a starter motor on Toyota T100?

Detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, ensuring you have the correct activation code for the anti-theft system if applicable. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Detach the electrical connectors from the starter/solenoid assembly, then remove the starter motor mounting bolts. Take off the bracket from the upper section of the starter/solenoid assembly, noting that on 4WD models, it may be necessary to remove the front wheel and fender liner to access the starter motor through the opening. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Q: How to remove and install a starter motor on Toyota T100?

Detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, ensuring you have the correct activation code for the anti-theft system if applicable. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Detach the electrical connectors from the starter/solenoid assembly, then remove the starter motor mounting bolts. Take off the bracket from the upper section of the starter/solenoid assembly, noting that on 4WD models, it may be necessary to remove the front wheel and fender liner to access the starter motor through the opening. Installation is the reverse of removal.
