Unscrew the battery's negative cable, and make sure you have your stereo's anti-theft key code handy in case it has that feature. Unscrew and take out the knobs in the center cluster, and unscrew the screws found on the front of the A/C Switch. First, pull the control a bit out from its place. Then, if it has control cable mounts, rotate the flags before disconnecting the electrical connectors. Installation is the reverse of removal. Put the car in motion to make sure the A/C works as it should. As you attach the cables to their ends and fit the control panel into its place on the dash, custom-tune the cable lengths from the control setting of REcirculate, COOL, and DEFroggeR. 1) With the damper control lever in FRESH position, put on the air inlet control cable and clamp it down. To set the air mix control cable, move the air mix damper switch to COOL, insert the cable and tighten its locking clamp with a small push on the outer cable. Start by setting the mode damper control cable to DEF mode. When in DEF mode, hook the cable end to something and tighten the clamp. Test the AC and heating switches, then fix the A/C Switch if either switch breaks down during testing.
