    How do you loosen the top nut of the Shock Absorber for the 2008 Toyota Yaris? Posted by Caroline K.
    A:
    Using a spanner to hold the lower nut, loosen the top nut and remove it. If necessary, use a small spanner to hold the piston rod flats at the top, then loosen the shock absorber lower nut. Leave the lower nut fitted just by a few threads until the lower mounting has been removed and the shock absorber is ready to be lowered out.
