To remove the air intake duct, first disengage the ground wire from the clip and then loosen the hose clamp screws to disconnect it from the fresh air inlet and air filter box. To remove the air filter box, remove the engine cover, disconnect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector and PCV fresh air inlet hose, and remove the mounting bolts. For V8 models, disconnect the idle-up hose, PCV fresh air inlet hose, and vacuum hose before removing the air intake duct and unbolt the air filter box to remove it. When installing, ensure proper positioning of wire-type hose clamps and reverse the removal steps. Inspect and replace any damaged grommets.
