- A:The turn signal and hazard flasher is a single combination unit, located in an electrical center behind the left kick panel. When functioning properly, an audible click can be heard during its operation. If the turn signals fail on one side and the flasher unit doesn't make its characteristic clicking sound, or if one bulb flashes faster than normal while the other end of the vehicle on the same side doesn't light at all, a faulty turn signal bulb may be the issue. If both turn signals fail to blink, it could be due to a blown fuse, a faulty flasher unit, a defective switch, or a loose/open connection. Before replacing a blown fuse, check for any wiring shorts. To replace the flasher, disconnect the electrical connector and remove it from the electrical center. Ensure the replacement unit is identical to the original before installing it.
