Toyota 69802-58010 Window Regulator

Whenever working within the confines of the door openings, it recommended that one uses his or her gloves to avoid accidents by touching the sharp metal frames. To replace the door window glass regulator the following operations are required step 1 eliminate the door trim panel and the watershield, step 2 take out the window glass. Then, that electrical connector will have to be disconnected and the regulator mounting bolts will also be removed. Subsequently, remove the regulator assembly by proceeding to pull the equalizer arm and regulator assemblies through the service hole of the door frame. Removal is the exact opposite of installation, paying special attention to applying white grease to the rollers as well as the wearing spots of the regulator. For the liftgate window glass regulator start with the liftgate trim panel and the recessed plastic watershield and then the window glass. Feel the assy and if you see the electrical connector or regulator mounting bolts, disconnect or take out the regulator assembly by pulling the equalizer arm and regulator assy through that service hole on the door frame. As with removal, installation is the inverse and prior to reinstalling the wiring harness and the nut, the rollers and the wear points on the regulator must be lubricated using white grease.
