Toyota 81170-0C050 Driver Side Headlight Unit Assembly

On 2014 and later models, remove the radiator grille. Next, remove the two headlight housing trim clips and carefully pry the trim panel out, disengaging the two remaining clips on the back of the panel. Then, remove the headlight housing retaining fasteners and pull out the assembly, noting that on 2015 and later models, the headlight housing uses clips and retaining screws to hold it in place. Unplug the electrical connector from the headlight bulb and the adjuster motor, if equipped. Installation is the reverse of removal, and it is important to check and adjust the headlights afterward.

A horizontal tape line should be positioned in reference to the centerline of all the headlights. It may be easier to position the tape on the wall with the vehicle parked only a few inches away.
