To remove the clutch slave cylinder, disconnect the clutch line and bleeder tube, remove the mounting bolts, and pull out the push rod. Tap the cylinder against a block of wood to break the piston loose, and use compressed air if needed. Clean and inspect the cylinder bore for damage, replacing if necessary. Grease or coat the new piston with brake fluid, insert it with the spring, and install the boot and push rod. Secure the cylinder with mounting bolts, connect the bleeder tube and clutch line tightly. Fill the reservoir with brake fluid, bleed the clutch system, and check for leaks.
