Q: How do you remove the transaxle,Clutch Fork and Release Bearing?
A: To remove the transaxle, place it on a clean work surface. Slide the Release Bearing on the input shaft and disconnect the spring clip from the Clutch Fork fork tip. Rotate the spring clip to clear the Clutch Fork and remove the bearing. Pull the Clutch Fork away from the transaxle and push it towards the input shaft to release it from the fulcrum stud. Clean the bearing and inspect it by turning the inner race. Clean the Clutch Fork and inspect the fork tips for wear. Apply grease to the bearing, clutch disc spline, Clutch Fork fulcrum stud, and Clutch Fork fork tips. To install, reverse the removal steps and ensure the Clutch Fork spring is properly attached to the fulcrum stud.
