- Q: How to remove and install headlights on Toyota MR2?A:To begin, turn the headlights on and unplug the electrical connector from the headlight retractor control relay. Next, turn the headlights off; with the retractor control relay disconnected, the lights will stay in the up position. Remove the screws securing the headlight trim piece and take off the trim piece by unscrewing both screws on each side. Pull the headlight toward you and disconnect the spring located in the upper left corner using a suitable tool. Then, remove the four retaining screws for the headlamp bezel, take off the chrome bezel, and pull the light out far enough to reach behind it and unplug the electrical connector. After that, pull the headlight out and unplug the connector before finally removing the headlight. For installation, follow the reverse order of removal and ensure to adjust the headlights afterward.
