To remove the sway bar kit on a vehicle, first, loosen the front wheel lug nuts and raise the front of the vehicle on jack stands. Remove the front wheels and disconnect the
Tie Rod End and sway bar kit links from the
Steering Knuckles. Detach both sway bar kit bushing retainers from the engine cradle and remove the front exhaust pipe and steering gear mounting bolts. Lift the
Rack And Pinion and remove the sway bar kit by working it out through the left wheel housing. While the sway bar kit is off the vehicle, inspect the sway bar bushings and link assembly. Clean the bushing area of the sway bar kit with a stiff wire brush. To install the sway bar kit, lubricate the new sway bar bushings with vegetable oil and reverse the removal steps.
