Begin the removal of the hub assembly by loosening the drive axle/hub nut and the wheel lug nuts. After raising and supporting the vehicle on jack stands, remove the wheel. Remove the brake caliper and secure it aside, then remove the caliper torque plate and separate the brake disc from the hub. Loosen the strut-to-steering knuckle bolts without complete removal, then detach the tie-rod from the steering knuckle arm, and remove the balljoint-to-lower arm bolt and nuts. Remove the strut-to-knuckle bolts, push the drive axle from the hub, and support its end. Separate the steering knuckle from the strut. When reinstalling, position the knuckle and hub assembly, ensuring the drive axle enters the hub. Install bolts and nuts to attach the knuckle to the strut flange, connect the ball joint to the
Control Arm, and attach the tie-rod to the knuckle arm. Tighten all fastenings to the specified torque, place the brake disc back on the hub, and install the caliper and the drive axle/hub nut. After reinstalling the wheel, lower the vehicle, tighten the lug nuts, and finally, tighten the drive axle/hub nut to the specified torque and secure it with a new cotter pin. Check and adjust the front wheel alignment if needed.
