To remove the stereo in your vehicle, start by disconnecting the battery cable from the negative battery terminal, ensuring you have the correct activation code for the anti-theft system if applicable. Then, remove the center cluster trim panel and the control assembly mounting screws. Carefully pull and tilt the unit out of the dash, potentially loosening the trim pad if necessary. Check the outer sheath of the cables for indentations and mark them with paint if needed. Remove the clamps and detach the control cables, followed by unplugging the electrical connectors and lifting the control from the vehicle. To install, simply reverse the removal steps and connect or adjust the A/C Switch cables.
