The oil pump is integrated with the timing chain cover most probably; if this pump is bad, then both have to go. The starting with the removal of the engine and proceed with the removal of the valve cover and the
Crankshaft Pulley as well. Next, it will be necessary to remove the
Engine Mount and the mounting bracket and finally the timing chain cover. Before putting in new parts, locate the oil pump gaskets and the gasket of the oil hole cover on the lower part of the crankcase. Lubricate the pump cavity by filling the clean engine oil through the inlet of the oil pump with the assistance of the drive gear shaft. Swivel the flats on the crankshaft timing sprocket to match up with those on the oil pump drive rotor, then fit the timing chain cover and full the bolts. Last of all, replace the rest of the parts in reverse sequence, fill with oil to the right level, turn the engine on and look for oil pressure and oil leakage respectively.
