The brake light switch is mounted on the top of brake pedal assembly by using a bracket and it switches 'ON' the back brake lights. Start with the removal of the negative terminal on the battery beginning with loosening the connection and excluding it from reaching the battery terminal. After that, remove the wiring connectors join to the brake light switch and unfixed the lock nut that encompasses the switch from the terminal depend on the pedal bracket and fix the new switch correspondingly. For adjustment, first, remove the lock nut, rotate the switch to make contact of the threaded portion with the pedal stopper lightly, and finally, fix the nut. Last but not least, join the wire at the switch and the battery terminals and with help verify that the rear brake light is operational.
