    How should the Crankshaft Seal be removed from the timing chain cover for the 2007 Toyota Tacoma? Posted by Kar T.
    A:
    Carefully pry the seal out of the timing chain cover with a screwdriver or seal removal tool, being careful not to scratch the crankshaft. If using a screwdriver, wrap tape around the tip to avoid scratching the housing bore or damaging the crankshaft, as damage to the crankshaft can cause the new seal to leak.
